Hope House Farm – Indoor Ridding Arena.

Hope House Farm contacted Northern Structures Limited with a view to building an indoor riding arena. We were happy to design the new building, apply for and gain planning permission, fabricate and erect the structure for them.

The building is of steel portal framed design consisting of a main span measuring 36.6m long x 21.35m wide x 5.49m average height to eaves in 6 No. 6.1m bays, it connects into the north west side of  an existing Farmplan building which we erected in 1987. To the north west side of the new building there is a lean-to viewing area 12.2m long x 6.1m wide x 3.82m average height to eaves in 2 No. 6.1m bays.

The structure has been clad using both timber spaced boarding and box profile plastisol coated steel sheets. The roof has been clad using fibre cement sheets, including sky lights.  We have installed bespoke gates, clad in plastisol covered steel sheeting, and Kirncroft pedestrian access doors.

Internally, we have laid a concrete floor. We have installed boarding to incubus the riding arena and dusted the area ready for use.

The photos show the construction of the building and the finished building.
