Vehicle Storage Building, Cramlington

We were approached by Henry Cooper Coaches Limited, to design and erect a steel framed vehicle storage unit at their premises in Cramlington.

The building is 30.50m long x 9.65m wide x 6.10m high. The steelwork has been designed to BS5950 Part 1 and is fully CE compliant.  We have used zed purlins to allow the installation of cladding to the frame.

The roof has been clad using PVC coated profile sheets, with an insulated core and internal liner panel. Roof lights have been installed within to allow natural light into the building.

The sides of the building have had concrete panels installed to a height of 2 meters. Like the roof, the sides have also been clad using PVC coated profile sheets, with and insulation core and internal liner panel.

The floor has been laid with concrete, and a concrete apron and entrance way has been installed externally.

An electrically operated sectional door and two pedestrian doors have installed to allow access and emergency exits.

As part of our contract we have installed new drainage to take rain water away from the building and into the existing drains on site.
