Farm Building Extension, Elsdon

Elsdon is a village and civil parish in the English county of Northumberland about 10 miles (16 km) to the southwest of Rothbury. The name is derived from the Old English meaning Elli’s valley.

Northern Structures Limited were delighted to offer the client a full design package, to gain planning permission, and to fabricate and erect this farm building extension.

The extension measures circa 24.40m long x 5.49m wide x 4.00m average height to eaves.  The building ties directly into an original structure build by Farmplan Buildings.

The steel structure has been designed and build to BS5502 Class 2 and clad using Profile 6 fibre cement roof sheets with skylights, and box profile plastisol coated steel sheets to the elevations.

Concrete panels have been fitted to the lower level, increasing the buildings strength.

Steel sliding doors complete this build, giving security and protection against the weather.
