Bio-Mass Shed, Beadnell

Beadnell is a village and civil parish in Northumberland. It is situated about 4 miles (6.4 km) south-east of Bamburgh, on the North Sea coast.

Our client want to extend a building we had constructed and transform the new area into a Bio-Mass power plant. Having build a number of Bio-Mass facilities to date, we were happy to help and could advise accordingly, offering advice and support as the build progressed.

The extension is of steel portal frame design and measures some 12.20m long x 15.25m wide with and average height to eaves of 5.185m. it connects into the south gable of the existing building.

In order to match the existing, we have clad the frame using profile 6 fibre cement roof sheets, and GRP rooflights. Box profile plastisol coated steel sheets in matching colour have been used on the elevations.

To give the building building strength, preformed concrete panels have been used around the perimeter.
